Clark Peterson Executive Producer

In addition to “Dear Mr. Gacy,” Clark Peterson has produced numerous feature films.  After producing Academy Award-winning “Monster,” he partnered with Charlize Theron to produce the film “East of Havana,” a documentary film about young hip-hop artists in Cuba. The film was critically acclaimed and released theatrically by Sony-BMG Films.  He is currently developing several original features with author-screenwriter James Ellroy, and is also producing a big-budget remake of David Cronenberg’s “Scanners.”

Other producing credits to his name include the festival darling and theatrically released documentary “My Date with Drew” (winner of numerous festival awards), the Universal-released thriller “The Watcher,” starring Keanu Reeves and James Spader, and “Wes Craven presents Wishmaster,” which, according to Daily Variety, was the top-grossing independent film of its year of release.

A graduate of Stanford University, Peterson began his career working in script development and production for producer Roger Corman, where he was involved in a number of independent films. Later, he joined the Walt Disney Studios as an executive for several years, and then served as a head of production and producer at several top independent production companies.
