You could say that Jesse Moss is a natural born actor, having been born and raised in Vancouver, BC, the second of three children who have also carved out their niche with careers in the film and entertainment industry.

Not only are his siblings in the business, but Jesse’s Mother, who has been a writer for a series in which his sister had a recurring role, currently has a feature in production (2009). His father, who after years as an investment manager, has recently focused his attention on his new career as a criminal private investigator.

Moss’ early days ‘breaking into the business’ include his auditions for the Mickey Mouse Club for Disney, right in the mix next to Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. While acting has come naturally to Jesse, he works hard to ensure that he’s continually seen on small and large screens alike. He continues to take on projects which includes highly acclaimed locally shot series, his most recent being Whistler and also includes The Dead Zone and Collectors. The Uninvited was his most recent big screen endeavor, which has just been released on DVD.

An animated series including voice-over’s for the original Enzo in Reboot, and other characters include Coal in Trollz round out his flexible career.

Of the many features, series and animated series Jesse has previously played the character of “Jason” four times, with the fifth being his current lead role in Dear Mr. Gacy. The role of Jason Moss (no relation), stretched Jesse’s acting chops because of the reality of the piece and because he was portraying a true-life story.

Jesse has recently moved to LA to pursue the 2009 Pilot Season and the opportunities for Moss’ future seem very bright indeed.
